I'm originally from NYC and moved to VA so I've been exposed to a huge amount of Viet food. I figured while out in PA for work, I decided to hit up a pho spot to try it out. 1. Shrimp spring roll - Shredded lettuce, noodles, and shrimp. Very simple and lacks the herbs. For any reviews saying the spring roll lacks flavor, that's how they're supposed to be but where the peanut sauce comes in. Peanut sauce is heavier on the peanut side, which I do not mind, and adheres well to the spring roll. 2. Pho Yummy Special - Sliced beef, beef brisket, beef meatball, beef tripe, and beef tendon served in this pho. Side plate with the bean sprouts, herbs, lime, and jalapenos. The reviews about the large portions were not kidding. I am fat. I eat a lot. The large had me full and I couldn't finish the broth. I think it's ~$16 for the small and ~$17 for the large. The broth itself wasn't anything amazing but still delicious and gets the job done. I was not prepared for the amount of noodles they give. I'm used to the beef being on the rare/medium side for pho but all the beef in this bowl was fully cooked but I understand that's probably the smarter thing to do with the demographic in the area. 3. Vietnamese Coffee - Absolutely loved and enjoyed so much, I ordered another to go to stick in the work fridge for later. Strong brew and the flavor hits hard. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes strong coffee.
Great spot! I was passing through in the terrible cold and stopped in for a good bowl of Pho and it didn't disappoint! And the staff were amazing!
My wife ordered a take out order today for dinner and it took over an hour for the order to be completed. She was told by the person at the counter that customers in the restaurant take priority regardless of when take order was placed. While the food is decent we won't be going back due to poor service. My wife should have canceled the order and left the food isnt worth an 60+ minute wait.
Found this when we stayed over a night in Lebanon. Coming from NY and having had a lot of pho all over East and West coast, we thought the food here at Pho Yummy was delicious. Gem considering where it is located. The pho broth was great. Portion size was great too.
I always leave here with a full tummy and full spirit. I usually order the chicken pho or beef pho and its always delicious! This is one of those places i know no matter what I will always leave feeling happier than when i entered. Very friendly and exceptional service as well!
Unless you have never had Viet food before, you would have a hard time finding something authentic or delicious about this place. Food wasn’t great. Server was terribly sick and kept saying it was allergies. Prices, however, were unreasonable given the quality. Wonder what has earned such high ratings, but our experience fell short in many ways.
Never had Vietnamese food before coming to Pho Yummy… boy was I missing out! Maybe it is because I have no point of comparison but the food and service at this restaurant is TOP! I was a little sketched out because of the location (small strip mall) but once inside that went out the door. The Wonton soup is delicious and the portions are HUGE. You will have leftovers for at least 2 days. Food has always come out warm and quick. This place has definitely because a favorite of mine. You won’t be disappointed:)
This place was really really good. Service was pretty quick. We got in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I’m not really much of a tofu person but their tofu spring rolls (vegan and gf) were awesome and crispy! Pho was good and the small def left me with a sufficient take home container. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well!
